Formed in 2007, Nova Music Studios started out as small recording studio in the heart of Chelsea, providing both amateur and experienced artists with professional recordings without the bank-breaking price tag. Based primarily on a Mac Pro, we now mainly work in highly regarded venues across the capital recording live acts.

Live Recording
Recently we got together with London’s famous Troubadour where we record a large amount of live acts of varying genres on a weekly basis. Please read below for some testimonials on our live recordings.
Our main focus now, is to provide musicians with the live recordings they require, wherever and whenever they are playing in London, and at an extremely reasonable price. Musicians wanting their set recorded pay for:
- a fully photographed night (the playing duration),
- A personalised CD cover and insert,
- each track mixed and mastered to CD
- as well as the full mix, audio files, Logic files and photos on a supplied separate DVD.
(All of our recordings are done on Logic 8.)

Music Production
Nova Music studios draws on it’s experience of music production to create original tracks in a large variety of styles suitable for a wide range of projects.
Having worked with music production and film companies based in Soho, as well as being musicians in their own respective bands, Nova Music Studios decided to branch out on their own in an aim to focus their attentions on writing specifically for TV, Radio and Film whilst also assisting unsigned musicians. We at Nova Music are always open to any idea needing to be realised. New clients are made welcome by our family based company and fresh approach.
Our Unique Gift Package
Nova Music are offering to musicians (whether professional singers or those who have only sung in the shower) the opportunity to record a song for a loved one.
Its simple:
Tell us the song you would like to sing,
We recreate a backing track for you,
Record your vocals,
Mix your track and send it to you.
We will also take pictures of you singing on the day, which we can then turn into a personalised CD cover. You may also display a photo of the loved one in the CD case.

Some Troubadour Info...
Since 1954, the famous Troubadour Club has been a hotbed of emerging talent and a leading light in excellent musicianship and live music. From its early incarnation as a folk venue, and counter-culture den of creativity, The Troubadour Club has remained at the forefront of interesting, original music and spoken word events with a great reputation for originality and atmosphere. Although now twice its original size, it remains true to its roots as the private cellar beneath the café and is one of the most exciting small music venues in town.
They promote a varied music programme. Check the programme for what’s on but rest assured that any night at the Troubadour is characterised by great atmosphere and musicianship of distinction. They look for performers of real talent who write and perform their own material and can add their names to a roster of troubadours that includes Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Joni Mitchell, Paul Simon, Elvis Costello and more recently Jamie T, Jack Penate, The Dead 60s, Paulo Nutini, Morcheeba…the list goes on and on.
