Piers S. Roberts
Piers Sherwood-Roberts is a 26 year old English composer. He was classically trained at Salisbury Cathedral becoming head chorister in his final year. From 1999-2001 he was part of the group ‘Boys Air Choir’ in that time touring Japan and recording two albums at Abbey Road studios. He is proficient at the cello and found is way into writing and composing through the piano.
Earning a degree in songwriting (BIMM) he is currently writing for his first solo E.p.
Piers has recently had play on at the Riverside studios in Hammersmith where he wrote and recorded an original score for a Film Noir version of Shakespeare’s ‘Othello’ and has just completed a short film about the legendary shoemaker Manolo Blahnik with a feature film following with Rupert Everett in the title role set to commence shooting late 2014.
